Class of 2011 L-R: Breege Holden, Chen Chen, Laura Allen, Alan McNulty, Sarah O’Mahony, Patrick Kennedy, Helen Faye, Patrick Farrell with Vivienne Pratt

The Dubai Chapter had an exciting week with the arrival of some students of the class of 2011. Patrick Kennedy, Laura Allen and Breege Holden made the trip from London while Sarah O’Mahony took a break from her work at the Radisson in Galway to experience life in the desert.

Over the week the group visited many  different hotels, restaurants and (of course) bars in Dubai taking special interest in Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, parent company to the famous Burj Al Arab, where they enjoyed afternoon tea and a suite inspection.

In the true Shannon Spirit, much fun was had over the week with the visitors catching up with Alan McNulty, Chen Chen, Patrick Farrell, Helen Fay (all Class of 2011), Brian Webster (2012), Mairead Cullen and Sandra Murphy (Class of 2010).

Their last day involved a desert excursion leaving their Hotel (Jumeirah Creekside Hotel) at 3pm on Friday.

The Dubai chapter always welcomes visitors and are happy to facilitate ‘Shannon Rates’ in their respective hotels.

For any queries relating to the Dubai chapter please feel free to contact Patrick Farrell.
