The Gathering 2013 is an initiative by the Irish Government to increase visitor numbers to Ireland in 2013 http://www.thegatheringireland.com
“It’s about asking anyone who has Irish blood, a link to Ireland, or even just a love of our country – to join us for a series of amazing and diverse events throughout 2013.”
As a result, the Annual Alumni Reunion was slightly different in 2013.

Daytime: Golf competition – The President’s Cup
Evening: Gala Black Tie Ball in Dromoland Castle.
Sunday, September 1st: Jazz Brunch in The Inn @ Dromoland
