FullSizeRenderAt the Spencer we are currently recruiting for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking Duty Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist HOD’s with management of the property.
  • To deal with all guest and operational queries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • To ensure consistent delivery of standards
  • Ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department at all times.
  • Proactively plan to ensure each department is prepared for service based on awareness of business in the hotel.
  • Maximise sales and profitability through creating an environment where staff are selling and up selling, using incentives and promotions etc.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presentation must be exceptional at all times
  • “Hands on” and “can do” approach to work and very strong work ethic
  • A working knowledge of Opera and Micros will be a distinct advantage
  • Hotel management qualification desirable
