The Sandymount hotel in Dublin is over 60 years old and is proudly run by its owners. It has 168 bedrooms, 8 conference suites, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel is situated in the exclusive area of Dublin 4 and is the closest hotel to the Aviva Stadium.
We are currently seeking an experienced, professional Front of House Manager. This busy role requires someone to manage the day to day operations of an effective and customer focused team and to work closely with the Revenue and Reservations department to optimise occupancy and rates for the hotel.
- Managing a team of Receptionists to ensure the provision of a high quality, friendly, welcoming and customer focused reception experience for guests
- Managing the day to day operations of all the Reception area including resourcing, cash handling, administration, SOP’s, rostering, recruitment, training and development
- Working closely with the Revenue and Reservations Managers to monitor website bookings and to ensure occupancy and rates are maximised through front desk reservations after hours/weekends
We are looking for someone who is experienced, confident and capable in managing and running a busy hotel Front Desk. You will need to have a good understanding of the importance of hotel revenue and reservations functions and thrive on providing a warm and welcoming guest experience. Additionally you will need to have a can do attitude and enjoy being part of small and hard working team.
