The Merton hotel is seeking an experienced HR Manager to be part of the Senior Team – Start Date mid Jan 2017, interviews being held soon.
Part of Seymour Hotels, the Channel Islands largest group, The Merton Hotel is probably Jersey’s leading family hotel. The hotel has 286 bedrooms, 28 stylish self-catering Suites, various restaurants (including an Italian bistro and buffet style carvery) and extensive bar facilities. The Merton has Jersey’s only tropical hotel leisure complex, a fun pool with 80 metre water slide and Flowrider (standing wave), together with a gym, sauna and steam room, tennis court and all manner of entertainment for both children and adults.
The role of HR Manager is a challenging position within the Merton hotel. It offers an opportunity to utilise your professional skills and enhance your career in all areas of Human Resources management. The successful applicant will manage all aspect of Human Resources and Training.
Reporting to the General Manager and supported by the Group Personnel and Training Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the personnel and training function for up to 180 staff, many of whom live in.
