The Business Development Executive will work alongside the Sales Director and assist in the day to day sales administration and sales tasks. The will be a great learning role for anyone considering a career in a sales/business development environment. We require the candidate to have a strong oral and written communication skills, have a high level of comfort working with clients and an enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to learn the trade and works well under own initiative.

Job Description

The three core responsibilities of the Business Development Executive within the company are as follows:

1. Identifying new sales leads

2. Pitching services and preparing quotes

3. Competitor and market analysis

Responsibilities

·         Researching organizations and individuals online (LinkedIn) to identify new leads and potential new markets.

·         Researching competitor companies

·         Researching new markets

·         Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings/demos

·         Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales quotes /proposals

·         Arrange system demos and follow up

·         Maintaining a sales sheet to log all sales activity

 Qualifications & Experience

·         Third level degree is essential preferably in a business area

·         Fluent in Microsoft Office

·         Proven business development experience ideally gained in a face to face client focused role ideal but not essential

·         A second European language would be beneficial
