Conference & Banqueting Manager

The Role:

  • Ensure the efficient daily running of the Conference and Banqueting department to 4-Star hotel standards
  • Assist with daily operations in the hotel when required
  • Supervise, mentor, develop and train Team Members to department standards
  • Maintain brand standards at all times
  • Deal with all customer requests and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ensure cash and stock control at all times in the Conference and Banqueting Department
  • Assist in achieving departmental revenue and cost targets
  • Ensure the hotel mission and core values are maintained at all times
  • Liaise with sales in maximising sales for the Conference and Banqueting department
  • Maintain payroll daily and weekly
  • Adhere to HACCP and health and safety procedures in the Conference and Banqueting department

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2-3 years previous Conference and Banqueting Management experience, in a 4/5-Star large conference hotel
  • Have excellent people management skills and ability to motivate the team
  • Have knowledge of cash and stock control systems
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have previous experience in a large/high volume conference facility
