Learning/Training & Development Officer

We are currently looking for a passionate and innovative Learning/Training & Development Officer to join the People & Culture Team at Ashford Castle Estate.

Your main responsibilities as a Learning/Training & Development Officer are creating and delivering training for all team members for both Ashford Castle and The Lodge at Ashford Castle; conducting the Training Needs Analysis meetings; designing the monthly training calendar; cvoordinating with managers on course requirements; coming up with continuous creative ideas and suggestions to further improve our company training initiatives; creating and updating training documents and compiling monthly training report;  and developing our Flow-L&D Platform and designing in house training courses.

What are we looking for a Learning/Training & Development Officer?

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience of succession planning
  • Previous experience of delivering training programs
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle busy situations and manage your workload effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to develop online training programs
  • The ability to create and deliver training programs to a high quality
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
