Sales and Marketing Manager

What’s the Role?

We’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager to bring their experience and expertise to the collection, working directly with the Senior Management Team to develop and deliver sales and marketing strategies.

Established in 2019, Fiddle + Bow Collection is a collection with a 13-bedroom luxury hotel, 14 self-catering lodges, 7 luxury cottages, Russell’s Bar, Russell’s Fishshop and The Meadow, all based in Doolin. Looking to develop and push creative boundaries, we strive to be different, and to constantly review the services we offer, and improve and vary a guest’s experience. Our business is an exciting and varied environment to work in. We want to deliver a high-end premium service to maximise guest satisfaction. We aim to deliver world class standards of hospitality to every guest, every time, using premium quality and locally sourced ingredients and suppliers where possible.

What does the role involve?

  • Become a brand ambassador for the Fiddle + Bow Collection • Develop and deliver sales and marketing strategies for the Collection
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Oversees all company social media accounts that include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, other
  • Work with content team to develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages, enhancing our online presence.
  • Coordinates social media messaging with senior managers, and quarterly or seasonal company goals.
  • Possess awareness of current food, drink and hospitality trends and incorporate those trends into marketing plans and outreach.
  • Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns.
  • Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
  • Works with other departments namely Food & Beverage outlets /brands and accommodation outlets under the Fiddle + Bow Collection to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
  • High level of engagement with local event/tourist/corporate community and the ability to create; maintain, and nurture profitable partnerships.
  • Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
  • Able to work proficiently quickly in a high pressure & fast paced environment multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

Location: 3 days based in Limerick Office, 2 days based in Doolin
Full time: 40 hours

What you need is:

  • Experience in a similar Marketing or Sales role
  • Third level degree preferable but not essential
  • Extensive knowledge of Social Media Platforms and digital marketing
  • Understand content creation with an interest in photography
  • Web Proficiency
  • Ability to achieve and deliver on sales targets
  • Computer Software Proficiency
  • Advertising knowledge
  • Copywriting knowledge
  • Public Relations and Brand Marketing Experience preferable
  • Proofreading and Editing Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
