Assistant General Manager

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant General Manager  to join our team in the beautiful Dean Cork Hotel.

Key Deliverables and responsibilities:

  • Keeping stock in line with expectancies
  • Manage budgets
  • Set quarterly goals
  • Hitting GP and KPI targets
  • Upholding constant level of staff productivity
  • Assisting on staff appraisals and training plans
  • Providing leadership and direction to all employees
  • Ensure quality & safety controls are followed
  • Advanced thinking of holidays/ quiet periods/ bank holidays etc
  • Waste recorded correctly & accounted for
  • Staff breaks, safety sheets all filled out and logged
  • Keeping bar area constantly organised & checklists adhered to
  • Maintain demeanour in fast paced environment & equally make use of downtime effectively
  • Top variances explained and amended

Key skills

  • Proven demonstration of leadership
  • Minimum of 3 years of Management experience in a busy F&B setting
  • Inventory Management experience; upselling, dynamic use of produce
  • Stocktaking experience
  • Financial Acumen, comfort with Gross Profit margins and revenue figures
  • Flexibility in work hours
