Banqueting Operations Manager

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Adare Manor team as Banqueting Operations Manager. Our colleagues possess an intuitive service style that reflects the ethos and luxury of Adare Manor. The person in this role will be a creative individual with an in depth knowledge of current industry trends with the ability to lead a team in providing the flawless service our guests expect.

As Banqueting Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The overall success and operation of the Banqueting and Events department which you will be wholly responsible for. This will be done through collaboration and interaction with the Sales and the Culinary teams
  • Assisting your team in developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth
  • Be collaborative and creative in thinking of ways to convert potential business with innovative, unique and exciting ideas
  • Demonstrating leadership by inspiring your team to accomplish daily goals and targets and developing their skills in an ultra-luxury environment
  • Ensuring our colleagues are nurtured and challenged within their roles to ensure peak performance
  • Continually developing the product and the guest service proposition at Adare Manor to ensure it is positioned as a market leader
  • Ensuring a highly effective operation to create and deliver Beyond Everything experiences, maximising revenue and profitability across all areas in line with budget expectations
  • Running the operation and be responsible for taking the event from coordination through to final execution

Successful candidates for this job will:

  • Have ultra-luxury 5 star experience within a similar role
  • Demonstrate a strong leadership presence and take a proactive hands on role in order to identify and support colleagues on all levels
  • Be an inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams to provide world class service
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with high expectation guests
  • Have experience of running high volume weddings and events in a luxury environment
  • Be commercially astute and have solid financial awareness
