In October, the Class of 1974 celebrated 50 years since their Graduation. They gathered in Dunraven Arms, Adare for a dinner and catch up and met up with former SCHM lecturer Frank McMahon there also.
the following day they returned to Shannon College where they had lunch in the O’Regan Restaurant, viewed archive memorabilia, got an update on the college from Adrian Sylver, Head of School and finally they met with the Year 4 students for a Q&A.
These class visits are so special – for many it is their first time back in Shannon since they graduated and it’s maybe the first time meeting up since their student days also!
