September 26th saw the revival of the Alumni Golf Classic by the Alumni President James Enright. It was hosted in Kilkenny Golf Club by the Captain Richard Butler (Class of 1973), a classmate of James Enright and a huge thank you to both of them for keeping the momentum going and making it happen.
We partnered with St John of God Dementia Care at St Joseph’s Shankill and had some wonderful support from Alumni, Industry Partners and Friends.
Thanks to all who entered teams – classes ranged from 1973 to 2024 and there was great banter and comradery on the day! Many who couldn’t play on the day gave donations and sponsored a hole and this is hugely supported.
We raised just under €12,000 and this will be divided between the Shannon College new building development and St John of God Dementia Care.
We hope to make this an annual event so see you on the course next year!
