An exciting opportunity has opened for a Bar Supervisor or Assistant Bar Manager at Kenny’s Bar, one of the West of Ireland’s most vibrant food, music, and arts destinations.
Located in the heart of the surf town of Lahinch on the Wild Atlantic Way, Kenny’s is a fourth-generation family business with roots dating back to the 1830s, when it began life as a coach house. Today it has evolved into a well-established restaurant and pub by day and a highly regarded live music venue by night, known for its welcoming atmosphere, great food, and unforgettable gigs.
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and energetic hospitality leader who thrives in a busy, creative environment and wants to play a key role in the continued success of this iconic venue.
The Role
Depending on experience, you will join the management team as either Bar Supervisor or Assistant Bar Manager, helping to lead day-to-day bar operations and ensuring guests experience the unique energy Kenny’s is known for.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily running of the bar and service team
- Lead shifts and maintain high service standards
- Ensure a welcoming and energetic customer experience
- Assist with staff supervision, training, and motivation
- Work closely with management during busy music nights and events
- Help maintain stock control and bar organisation
- Uphold Kenny’s reputation for quality service and great atmosphere
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in bar supervision or bar management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A positive, hands-on attitude
- Ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment
- Passion for hospitality, music, and community venues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event nights
