As Castle Manager, you will be the beating heart of this property – part host, part leader, part guardian of an extraordinary heritage. Operating within an ultra-luxury, privately hosted model, you will curate deeply personal experiences for guests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee all day-to-day castle operations – accommodation, dining, grounds and events
- Be personally present at key guest moments: arrival, dinner, departure
- Lead pre-arrival guest profiling and bespoke journey planning
- Maintain immaculate presentation and operational standards throughout
- Recruit, coach and develop a small, cross-trained high-performance team
- Build relationships with luxury travel advisors and key local partners
- Ensure full regulatory, safety and compliance standards are upheld
WHO YOU ARE
You bring 3-4+ years of senior luxury hospitality leadership, ideally within a castle, country house, or ultra-luxury boutique property. You understand that at this level, emotional intelligence is as important as operational precision. You are calm under pressure, instinctively hospitable, and deeply discreet.
Experience with Forbes 5-Star, LQA, or Michelin 3 Keys standards is highly advantageous, as is a background in pre-opening properties or exclusive-use venues.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Full-service luxury castles or private country houses
- Ultra-luxury boutique hotels or private residence director roles
- Exclusive use / private hire properties for weddings and events
- International luxury hospitality – Ireland experience a plus
