Deputy General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Deputy General Manager to support the overall leadership and performance of our busy, customer-focused operation. As Deputy General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations across all departments. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, leading and motivating teams, and maintaining a strong focus on revenue growth, cost control, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior management role within hospitality, with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach. You should be commercially aware, highly organised, and confident in managing multiple departments while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in the smooth running of all departments
  • Lead, train, and develop team members to deliver outstanding service
  • Drive revenue and maximise profitability through effective cost control and upselling strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company standards
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, payroll management and performance analysis
  • Maintain high standards across service, presentation, and operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior hospitality management role
  • Proven track record in food and beverage operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commercially focused with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods
