Following on from our very successful Alumni Ball in 2025 in the InterContinental Dublin, the committee were delighted to donate surplus funds to 4 very deserving causes. Nicky Logue, GM of the Intercontinental and a member of last year’s organising committee made the presentation to Adrian Sylver, Head of Shannon College and Orla Cullinane, Lecturer and Associate Head of Student Welfare when he recently visited the college.
Our students volunteer with 3 very worthy local charities and we will donate €500 to each:
~ Clare Haven Horizons
~ Carrigoran House-Health & Wellness Centre
~ Bunratty Development Group
In addition, we are delighted to support Niall Rochford’s Pancreatic Cancer Ireland fundraising also with a €500 donation.
