Thank you to everyone that joined us at our Strictly Lemonades “Loco” Summer event on Wednesday . It was great to see you at what, was our biggest gathering to date, and ended up being an even more exciting night out after with the historic Knicks comeback. To those that couldn’t make it hopefully we will catch you at the next event in September.
There was a great alumni turnout with a special visit by Alumni president James Enright (1973). It was lovely to see lots of familiar faces as well as Des O’Brien’s classmate from 1981 Christine Ohman and Diarmaid O’Sullivan (1993) who flew in from Bermuda.
A huge thank you to Des, Tony and their amazing team at Toro Loco for hosting us in their “Garden” that brought the real feel of summer outdoor lemonades. We truly appreciate the fantastic food and generous flow of libations!
Additionally, as always, I am ever grateful to Tom Joyce & Leucio Iacobelli from Montauk Distilling Company and their team Matt who owns CWD distributors who once again generously provided Modico Vodka and Montauk Spiced Rum for us to enjoy and helps us continue to get together as we do. Thank you for the offers to host our next event and I will reach out to you in the next couple of weeks to discuss. I am already working on our Post-Summer gathering which will hopefully be in late September, so please keep an eye out for a save the date.
