What college memory still makes you smile?
Thinking back on the Charity Committee events I took part in: Strictly Come Dancing and Lip Sync.
If you had to re-live your time in Shannon College, would you do anything differently?
I enjoyed every moment in Shannon College but if I was to go back, I would make more of an effort to apply for the various competitions and certifications the college offer.
What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?
In your life, what achievement are you most proud of?
Getting over my homesickness in first year has to be one! But definitely representing the college at the National Cocktail Championship!
What qualities do you think are most important to have for a rewarding career?
I believe you have to be proud of your work, be confident and to have trust in your team and people around you!
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced during Covid-19?
It has definitely been an uncertain year for all in the hospitality industry however it allowed us to be creative and adventurous and explore other opportunities to get us one step closer to our career goal!
Do you have words of wisdom that you try to live by?
Live everyday like it’s your last!
What advice do you have for current SCHM students who are looking for inspiration and hope?
Believe in yourself and what you can achieve! Anything is possible!
