We are all devastated to hear of the passing of Colm Hannon – Class of 1987.
Colm is inextricably linked to Shannon College – his wife Sue is Class of 1986, his son Shane is Class of 2019 and his daughter Ciara graduated in 2021. In addition to this, the Class of 2017 were honoured to have him as their Class Patron.
Colm was an absolute gentleman and admired and respected by all who were lucky to know him.
We heard of Colm’s passing whilst travelling to a Cork Chapter Event and Phillip Smyth spoke some lovely words about Colm whilst we all remembered him.
Our thoughts are with Colm’s family, many friends and classmates.
