July 2023 – Dublin Chapter
Nicky Logue, GM of InterContinental Dublin hosted a lovely evening on July 13th 2023. For a mid-summer event, there was a very strong turnout with over 50 in attendance! So many recent alumni and some final placement year students were there and mingling with everyone – it is really encouraging to see.
Nicky welcomed everyone and introduced Adrian Sylver, Head of School, Shannon College to say a few words. Adrian welcomed our recently retired staff members Phillip Smyth and Kate O’Connell – the mammy and daddy of the college! Alumni President, Eamonn Casey also spoke and referenced the importance and benefits of the Shannon family.
