Michael Dennehy (1954) R.I.P.
I was very sad to hear of the recent passing of Michael Dennehy – a member of the very first class in Shannon College of Hotel Management in 1951.
Michael always kept in touch with the college over the years and I was delighted to meet with him when he visited in September 2012 – the photo above was taken on that day. When he visited, Michael gave me a copy of his memoirs – memories of his time as a student in Shannon College and his early career and his family would love to share them with fellow alumni. He describes his time as a student very clearly and shares great stories – not all from the workplace or classroom! These memories are available in the link at the right hand side.
