Friday September 25th – Sunday September 27th 2015, Switzerland

The class of 1990 will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its liberation from those hallowed halls of learning and, in true Shannon fashion, has decided this merits a bit of a knees-up!

For those of you interested in joining us in this celebration festivities will take place in Switzerland the last weekend of September this year.

Surely a marvellous opportunity to revisit some places steeped in memory?

The event will be held in the picturesque village of Chateau d’Oex, easily accessible by car or train from all the main cities.

Friday night .

Sat night aperitif followed by traditional swiss dinner at Le Chalet Fromagerie, party ’til the small hours 🙂

Optional group activity on Sat to be confirmed.

Friday 25th:

Friday will be a laid back catch up headed up by the welcoming committee (Lia, Norms & Howley!) on duty at Hotel de Ville armed with swiss white, red & beer and an informal dinner.

Saturday 26th:

It has been suggested that we take part in a group activity on Saturday. Hopefully we will be visiting the Glacier in Diablerets, plan B may be a trip to the beautigul village of Gruyere.

Of course those who prefer to do their own thing are welcome to. The fashionable jet set village of Gstaad is just up the road.

Dinner on Saturday night starts with an aperitif followed by traditional swiss dinner at Le Chalet Fromagerie

Accommodation:

The Hotel de Ville, located in the centre of the village, has been block booked for us but be advised it only has 12 rooms. Debbie is in charge of reservations there and is offering us doubles at CHF 120/night instead of CHF 140/night with breakfast.

Alternatively the Roc & Neige is only a 5 min walk from the centre and is also offering a preferential rate, ask for Melanie and say that you are attending Lia’s event.

If the weathers good bring your togs, the village has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool!

We welcome all spouses, partners etc,  the more the merrier!

You’re welcome to contact the organizers directly for any other info :
