Rooms Division Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Westbury Hotel as we are now recruiting for a Rooms Division Manager. The successful candidate will oversee our Front of House, Overnight Operations and Accommodation teams.

You will be strategic in nature and will work closely with department heads to develop and implement strategies that enhance the guest experience, develop, and support your teams and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• To achieve business objectives and excellent guest satisfaction results by ensuring all departments operate in a smooth and efficient manner and within the required standards throughout the hotel
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of all assigned operational functions within the business
• To lead the team with enthusiasm, eagerness and with a genuine care for our guests, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of our business and delivered beyond their expectations
• To ensure that the Guest Satisfaction Program is managed effectively. To ensure that Guest Satisfaction Quality objectives are exceeded and when not achieved ensure follow-up actions are implemented to ensure standards performance
• To work with Senior Management on the approval, forecasting and amendments to all departmental rosters to control hotel payroll costs
• Personally monitor guest satisfaction by observation, regular reporting from Managers and regular contact with major accounts
• Achieve effective communication by briefing and debriefing the team, holding regular departmental meetings, and actively encouraging communication with other departments within the Hotel

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience across all Front of House Departments
• Proven success in managing large teams across different departments
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial awareness across the entire Rooms Division
• Experience in preparation of departmental budgets
